Campfire Circle provides healing through happiness to kids with cancer or serious illness and their families.
“This camp means a lot to us. It is hard to live in the moment. This place allows us to breathe, relax, and feel normal.” – Camper Parent
Today, there are over 10,000 children living in Ontario hospitals with serious illnesses, who are missing out on school, time with friends, and the everyday experiences that make up childhood.
By supporting the Sporting Life 10K, you are helping bring back moments of joy, connection, and healing to kids with cancer or serious illness and their families, all at no cost to them.
Through play-based programs across Ontario’s paediatric hospitals, in local communities, and at our two medically supported overnight camps, Campfire Circle creates spaces where kids can connect, build self-confidence and resiliency, and simply be kids again.
With your support, we can triple our reach from serving 3,000 to 10,000 campers a year by 2030. You can help more kids take back their childhood, regardless of their medical diagnosis.
Donate or fundraise today – thank you for helping us reach more kids and families!
